Product Liability and Mass Tort

For more information about Tighe Patton’s product liability practice, please contact Max Maccoby.

The Firm’s Product Liability and Mass Tort practice involves national or multi-state liability actions for failure to warn for “known side-effects or dangers,” “off-label use,” or for “design defects.”  Our work covers a wide range of mass tort categories including pharmaceutical products, medical devices, asbestos, toxic chemicals and metals, construction equipment, automobiles, motorcycles, and tires, and consumer products for children.

We also participate in personal injury and property damage litigation.  Firm lawyers have extensive experience in a wide range of environmental litigation and insurance matters.

Recent cases include:

Hawkinson v. Oak Lawn Harley Davidson, a pending Illinois action asserting that the dealership installed a dangerous part that caused a motorist to lose control and suffer serious personal injury.
