Our arbitrator services are provided principally through Alan Kent, who has more than 25 years' experience as a construction, commercial and international arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association, for which he is a Large/Complex Case Roster designee and a Master Construction Arbitrator. The firm also accepts ADR appointments from bar association presidents and private practice attorneys.
Among the cases for which the Firm has provided an arbitrator are:
- $60 million in claims regarding the design and construction of the world’s largest radio telescope, a case that required nine weeks of hearings;
- over $100 million in malpractice claims against a “Big Four” accounting firm;
- a variety of other large and complex commercial and construction disputes.
